What's New at Richmond Music School for Fall/Winter 2021/2022

Flute Lessons for Early Musicians!


Children who want to start the flute do not have to wait until Age 8 anymore! RMS is introducing the NUVO TOOT Group lesson for Ages 3-5, and Ages 5-7. This is the perfect instrument to start with for those who ultimately wish to play the flute.

Registration open now: [ This class is in person (maximum 6 students) ] Date: January 4 to March 8, 2022 (Tues) Time: 330pm to 415pm and 415pm to 5pm


Fee: $200 for ten weeks (Nuvo Toot not included)

Children's Choir is Back!

RMS Children's Choir - various rehearsals during the week

January to March 2022 (Term 2) weekly in-person rehearsals/class

Fee per student: $200 (Term 2)



Winter 2022 Song Collection: DRUM


"Mixed Age Class" (0 - 6 years old) This class is ideal for parents seeking early music education that is fun and effective that will help prepare the child for private instrumental lessons in the future. Date: January 8 - March 12 ,2022 Saturdays: 11:15am -12pm

Length: 10 weeks of 45 minutes classes ONLINE

Lavenderland x RMS Pop-Up Concerts

Congratulations to all the students who performed at Richmond Lavenderland on Aug 28th and Sept 15th, 2021. It was a beautiful venue and a wonderful opportunity to perform in person for our students. Special thanks to our Chamber Ensemble Group for their debut performance, and our teachers: Chee Hwa Chiang, Nathalie Phan, Michael Lum, and Gilbert Sak for their wonderful teaching and their students' impressive performances.
